The ATL 5G is MikroTik’s newest addition to their LTE connectivity family, building on everything that made their LTE routers popular and now adding 5G support.

Designed specifically for outdoor installation, the ATL 5G connects directly to 5G, LTE, or 4G networks, making it a perfect solution where wired broadband isn’t an option. Its IP66-rated enclosure ensures durability, even in harsh weather conditions.

The unit’s sleek form factor prevents snow and water accumulation, eliminating the need to clear it manually after a storm. For mobile connectivity, the ATL 5G supports a single Micro SIM slot and eSIM, allowing carrier switching without physically accessing the device.

At the core of the ATL 5G is a high-gain 17 dBi 5G/LTE antenna array supporting 4×4 MIMO. With four high-gain middle-band antennas and four low-band antennas, it delivers impressive coverage across essential frequencies, especially in rural areas. Housing both the LTE modem and antennas inside the IP66 enclosure minimises cable loss, providing the strongest possible mobile signal.

On the hardware side, the ATL 5G features:

• Single Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-in capability for powering and connecting via one cable
• Support for passive PoE (18–30V) and an additional DC power jack for flexible installations
• RouterOS v7 with a quad-core ARM CPU and 256MB RAM, offering full routing, firewall, NAT, VPN, and wireless management capabilities

While the built-in LEDs help with quick setup, we recommend using WinBox to access the full management interface for fine-tuning performance.
