Are You Going to Visit MUM?

LinITX are looking forward to attending the latest MUM (MikroTik User Meeting) in Birmingham on October 8th 2018.

For those of you not aware of what MUM is or why it might be worth attending this year, we thought we’d post some details on what you can experience at this exciting event.

The Mikrotik User Meeting will be hosted at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole (NEC Birmingham) – the event will run all day, from 09:00am until approximately 17:45pm.

Tickets are FREE to attend (or £23 with lunch + Mikrotik License) – you can reserve your MUM UK place online on the Mikrotik website.

Some of the topics covered on the day will include:

  • Where and how MikroTik RouterOS is being used
  • New plans for enterprise routing applications
  • Innovative ideas and strategies
  • New opportunities for MikroTik products and services
  • Wireless networking
  • User authentication and accounting
  • Dynamic routing
  • Network design
  • Bandwidth management and Quality of Service
  • Security
  • Systems Administration and Networks

We are also very proud that Ron Touw – our very own technical consultant at LinITX and Multithread, will give his own talk – “Mikrotik WiFi Mistakes and How To Avoid Them“. We’re sure that this will be another brilliant talk filled with pearls of wisdom from Ron’s considerable knowledge and experience.
